Job Summary
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes. This role supports business objectives by developing and implementing HR strategies, ensuring compliance with employment legislation, and fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and manage HR policies, procedures, and programs
Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies
Provide guidance and support to management on employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary matters
Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws, workplace standards, and health & safety regulations
Manage compensation, benefits, and payroll coordination
Lead training, development, and performance evaluation initiatives
Handle workplace investigations, conflict resolution, and accommodation requests
Maintain accurate employee records and HR metrics
Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across the organization
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
3–7 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a managerial role
Knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
HR certification (CHRP/CHRL) is an asset
